यदि शुभ ग्रह बुध, बृहस्पति, शुक्र, चंद्र केंद्र और त्रिकोण में हो और सब पाप ग्रह 3, 6, 11,वें स्थान में हों तथा अष्टम भाव में शुभग्रह या शुभ राशि हो तो व्यक्ति के जीवन में दिव्य आयु का योग बनता है। ऐसा जातक यज्ञ, जप, अनुष्ठान व कायाकल्प क्रियाओं द्वारा हजारों वर्षों तक जीवित रह सकता है। किंतु ग्रंथों में यह स्पष्ट कहा गया है कि ऐसे जातक का जन्म मृत्यु लोक में संभव नहीं है। ऐसी आयु तपोनिष्ठ ऋषि फिर भी पा सकते हैं।
