नवमसा एक डिभिसनाल कुंडली है जिसे वैदिक ज्योतिष में काफी महत्व दिया गया है। इसे वैदिक ज्योतिष में D9 चार्ट के रूप में भी जाना जाता है। नवमांश का अर्थ है, नौ अमासा। यहाँ अम्सा का अर्थ है विभाजन। तो नवमसा का साधारण मतलब है एक साइन का 9 वां डिभिसन।

हर चिन्ह 30 डिग्री का होता है और जब इसे 9 भाग या विभाजन में विभाजित किया जाता है, तो प्रत्येक भाग या विभाजन को नवासा के नाम से जाना जाता है। तो इस तरह से एक नया कुंडली बनाया जाता है जो मुख्य जन्म कुंडली की तुलना में अधिक मिनट है। इसे नवमांश कुंडली कहा जाता है। अगर इसका सही इस्तेमाल किया जाए तो यह भविष्यवाणी करने में बहुत मददगार साबित हो सकता है। हर विद्वान ज्योतिषी और ज्योतिष की हर अच्छी पुस्तक ने D9 चार्ट के उपयोग को तनाव दिया है।
