How can we predict the quality of married life from a D9 chart

How can we predict the quality of married life from a D9 chart

First analyze the condition of 7th house in the Birth Chart: Well occupied and well aspect 7th house is good and if there is dominance of malefic connections to 7th house then it will give adverse results.
Secondly see the strength of 7th lord and Venus. If these two planets are strong, well placed and well aspect they will improve the 7th house otherwise the results will be adverse.
Then see the Navamsa Chart: Benefic placed in Kendras (1st, 4th, 7th, 10h houses) in Navamsa Chart are good for married life while malefics in the same position are not good. Similarly see the condition of 7th lord of Birth Chart and Venus in Navamsa Chart. One can also analyze Navamsa Chart as a separate chart.
Then similarly analyze other relevant houses like 12th, 2nd, 5th houses.

Vedic Remedies of Problems

Vedic Remedies of  Problems

If you have pain in your bones during winters then apply sesame seed oil and then take shower. This may be related to high uric acid levels (hyperuricemia) too so make sure you get some medical advice if the pain persists.

Do you keep getting hurt? Do the following if yes, fill up some batasha (sweets made of sugar) in a big red cloth and donate it to a poor child or a poor blue collar worker. Also offer some perfume, (chameli) jasmine oil, and (sindoor) vermilion to Hanuman ji. This remedy should ideally be done on a Tuesday.

People who feel very cold in the winters and very hot in summers may be anemic, but they can do an astrological remedy too. They should do some donations on Purnamaasi; sit in front of the Moon and chant "om shram shreem shrom sah chandramasay namah". Also, they should pray to the Sun every morning and only then go about their daily activities. Doing pranayam and anulom-vilom will also be very beneficial. They should also eat honey and dalchini regularly.

If you experience a lot of headache during the winters, add some ginger pieces and black pepper powder to honey eat this mixture frequently, it should prove helpful.

If your left eye keeps twitching, then donate some cooked food to a poor person and pray to your God to get rid of the upcoming problem so you don't have any bad effects from it.

If you need some money in a month/during a period when your finances are weakened, then start doing the mantra of "aing shring mahalaxmaye namaha" with the help of a "kamal-gatta" bead morning and evening. You can also pray to kuber yantra or the mahalaxmi or shri yantra if you wish

If you dream of animals in your dreams - especially if you see animals that are carnivorous - like lions, then that's a good sign. If you see animals like deer who are running around, then you need to be careful. Animals that roar but don't do anything to you in your dreams, show that you will succceed in your endeavors.

If you have pain in your legs, one of the causes could be gas in the body. Do take some ajwain and hing regularly and also apply ajwain oil on your legs.

If the relations between the husband and wife are deteriorating, then they should stop eating bananas and instead plant a banana tree together on a Thursday once a month.

To get promotion at the workplace, offer a bead/mala made of supaari to lord Ganesha and meditate on him after making this offering and ask him for the promotion.

If a child has problems studying, then have him meditate for at least 5 minutes in front of Maa Saraswati.

Whenever you feel unstable in your career - fill 5 copper containers with some sweets made of besan and donate them on a Sunday - do this for 11 Sundays.

If you have some kind of vani-dosh, take 3 beads from the kamala-gatta bead and wear them around your neck. Do the mantra "om saraswatyay namaha".

To bring about prosperity in the home, keep kuber yantra and worship it regularly.

If you are about to join new work/new position which is at a higher level, ask your father to arrange/make a copper Sun for you and then have him put it around your neck on a Sunday. This will help your reputation - something which should remain positive when you are at a high rank.

If your children and your father are going through tough times, then offer some food and water to deer at least 4 times in a year. This should prove helpful.

If all of a sudden you start seeing blackspots on your face, start drinking water from a silver glass - the water should have been in the glass for at least 6 hours.

If your neighbors are disturbing you a lot, then offer sweets made of gram flour/besan or some pakora to Baglamukhi goddess and ask Ma to do good for you and to help your neighbors understand that you do not have ill intentions for them.

If you keep getting into accidents, then you may be under the negative influence of Shani or Rahu, or you may be going through saade-saati or dahiya phase, as a remedy, encircle a coconut for 5 Saturdays over your head and then offer it to your isht/personal God and then distribute it as prasaad. For people who keep getting cold and cough even in a slight change in temperature: take some black pepper, small "peepal", a little bit of "ajwain", dried pomegranate skin, and some jaggery (gud). Grind all of them and turn them into powder. Due to the gud, all can be easily moulded into round balls. Suck 3-4 of these throughout the day. This will gradually get rid of the cold issues. If you feel heaviness in your stomach, which makes you not want to eat - add a tablespoon of triphala powder in a glass of water at night and drink it in the morning after straining it. This will give you energy and make you feel lighter. Otherwise, if you like munakka, then start eating about 4 munakka which had been pre-soaked in milk. Another remedy is to add a spoon of honey to a cup of water, stir it and then drink it. All of these will help will you become stronger.

Concept of Divisional Charts in Vedic Astrology

Vedic Astrology derives superlative precision in predictive techniques due to concept of divisional charts. The term ‘division’ refers to the division of a rashi (sign) into parts. Each such fractional part of a sign is known as an amsa, and bears a special arena of significance and influence associated with it.
Traditionally, there are sixteen vargas, or divisional charts used in Vedic Astrology.
D-1: It is also known as Rashi Chart or Kshetra Chakra.
D-2: It is known as Hora Chart, and in this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 2 equal parts of 15° each.
D-3: It is known as Drekkana.
Each rashi is divided into 3 equal parts of 10° each.
Bodies in the first 10° of a rashi are placed in drekkana chart in the same rashi.
Bodies in the middle 10° of a rashi are placed in drekkana chart in the 5th from the rashi.
Bodies in the last 10° of a rashi are placed in drekkana chart in the 9th from the rashi.
D-4: It is known as Chaturthamsa or Turyamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 4 equal parts of 7.5° each.
Bodies in the first, second, third and fourth 7.5° arc of a rasi are in the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th from that rashi, respectively.
D-5: It is known as Panchamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 5 equal parts of 6° each.
Bodies in the 5 parts of an odd rashi go into Aries, Aquarius, Sagittarius, Gemini and Libra respectively.
Bodies in the 5 parts of an even rashi go into Taurus, Virgo, Pisces, Capricorn and Scorpio respectively.
D-6: It is known as Shashtamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 6 equal parts of 5° each.
If the rashi is odd, bodies in the 6 parts of a rashi go into the 6 rashis starting from Aries
If the rashi is even, bodies in the 6 parts of a rashi go into the 6 rashis starting from Libra
D-7: It is known as Saptamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 7 equal parts of 4° 17′ 8.57”.
Bodies in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th parts of a rashi go into the 7 rasis starting from the rashi itself (if its an odd sign).
Or starting from the 7th sign from it, if it is an even rashi.
D-8: It is known as Ashtamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 8 equal parts of 3° 45′ each.
Bodies in the eight parts of a rashi go into the 8 rashis starting from Aries if the rashi is movable.
Bodies in the eight parts of a rashi go into the 8 rashis starting from Sagittarius if the rashi is fixed.
Bodies in the eight parts of a rashi go into the 8 rashis starting from Leo, if the rashi is dual.
D-9: It is known as Navamsa or Dharmamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 9 equal parts of 3° 20′ each.
Bodies in the 9 parts of a rashi go into the 9 rashis starting from Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer, based on whether the rashi is a fiery, earthy, airy or watery sign.
Fiery signs: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Earthy Signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Airy signs: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Watery signs: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
D-10: It is known as Dasamsa or Swargamsa or Karmamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 10 equal parts of 3° each.
Bodies in the 10 parts of a rashi go into the 10 rashis starting from the rashi itself or the 9th from it, based on whether the rashi is odd or even.
D-11: It is known as Rudramsa or Ekadasamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 11 equal parts of 2° 43′ 38” each.
We have to count rashis from Aries to the rashi being divided, in the zodiacal order.
After this we have to count the same number of rashis antizodiacally 11 from Aries.
Bodies in the 11 parts of the rashi go into the 11 rashis starting from the rashi found by this method.
D-12: It is known as Dwadasamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 12 equal parts of 2° 30′ each.
Bodies in the 12 parts of a rashi go into the 12 rashis starting from the rashi itself.

In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 16 equal parts of 1° 52′ 30” each.
Bodies in the 16 parts of a rashi go into the 16 rashis starting from Aries, Leo and Sagittarius, based on whether the rashi is movable, fixed or dual.
D-20: It is known as Vimsamsa.
In this divisional chart, each rashi is divided into 20 equal parts of 1° 30′ each.
Bodies in the 20 parts of a rashi go into the 20 rashis starting from Aries, Sagittarius and Leo, based on whether the rashi is movable, fixed or dual.

In the next post, I would discuss about significations of each of the divisional chart.

Nakshatras and their Ruling Deities

In classical Hindu mythology, the creation of the nakshatras (lunar constellations) is attributed to Daksha. They are personified as daughters of the deity and as mythological wives of Chandra, the Moon God.
Each of the nakshatras is governed as ‘lord’ by one of the nine graha (planet) and has one deity, as mentioned in the table below.

Nakshatras bear the pivotal importance in astrology. Each Nakshatra has a symbol and a Mantra, which will be shared in coming posts. Exchange of Nakshatra lords in birth charts (and divisional charts) has significant meaning and deep understanding is needed to predict the outcomes in such cases.
