Transits are a predictive technique in astrology. The idea is quite simple: for each person there is a natal chart with the positions of the planets imprinted, and the planets in the sky in real time make aspects to these natal positions and, highlighting the potential prescribed in natal, make it come true in life.
A transit consists of 3 parts:
1. A transiting planet is a planet that moves across the sky in real time and can make aspects to natal.
2. Transit aspect - an aspect between transit and natal planets.
3. Natal planet or point - a planet aspected in natal or a fictitious point.
TRANSIT PLANET
A transiting planet has its own characteristics and symbolism. For example, Mars is movement, activity, initiative, militancy, aggression. However, the position of the planet in natal (sign, house and ruling house(s)) and aspects modify its character and methods of operation. For example: archetypal Jupiter is a benefactor that brings prosperity, bright prospects, expansion of influence and other generous goodies, and natal Jupiter in exile in the 11th house and in opposition to Rahu understands "grace" in its own way and acts in accordance with such an understanding, for example, guided by "God gave, God took" or "God gave, but before that he also divided among all friends." That is, a person perceives a transit planet through the prism of his natal chart and the corresponding situations and events will be realized.
